Ryan Sharpe was sentenced to life in prison on October 15 for the 2017 murder of Brad DeFranceschi in Louisiana. His conviction, reached by a unanimous jury in August 2024, follows a prior guilty verdict that was overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court. Sharpe is also linked to two other murders and an attempted murder in the same region that year. His mental competency was challenged during the trial, and a future court appearance is set for March 2025.
