On October 15, Roanoke Fire-EMS responded to a structure fire in the 800 block of Morrill Avenue SE at 8:08 a.m. Crews reported smoke and had the fire under control by 8:28 a.m. No injuries were reported, and the cause is under investigation. Roanoke Police managed traffic, while utility services were contacted. Roads remain closed, and updates will follow as more information becomes available.
