Nebraska Supreme Court to decide if felons with completed sentences can vote in November.

The Nebraska Supreme Court will rule on whether individuals with felony records can vote in the November elections, following a lawsuit against state officials who disregarded a new law restoring voting rights. The law allows those who completed their sentences to vote, but the Attorney General deemed it unconstitutional. The decision could impact around 80,000 Nebraskans, including 7,000 newly eligible voters, just before registration deadlines.
