On October 15, a head-on collision on the M6 motorway near Tebay Services in Cumbria claimed five lives, including two children. A Skoda, driven the wrong way by a 40-year-old man from Cambridgeshire, collided with a Toyota carrying a family from Glasgow. The deceased include a 42-year-old man, a 33-year-old woman, and two boys aged 15 and 7. A third seven-year-old boy from the Toyota remains in critical condition. Police are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage.
