The Green Bay City Council has decided to retain invocations at the start of meetings while forming a committee to consider guidelines for their delivery. Mayor Eric Genrich supports the practice, which currently involves a rotation among council members, some of whom use traditional prayers and others non-traditional methods. Proposed restrictions may include time limits and rules on recordings or props, but the invocations will not be eliminated.
