A 24-year-old man in Manurewa, South Auckland, faces attempted murder charges after allegedly crashing his vehicle into a parked truck on August 3, injuring a female passenger known to him. The woman suffered serious injuries but has since been discharged from the hospital and is recovering. The suspect is scheduled to appear in Manukau District Court. The investigation is led by Detective Inspector Shaun Vickers.
