On October 14, 33-year-old Jody Tate was arrested in Hinds County, Mississippi, after fleeing a traffic stop initiated by the Mississippi Highway Patrol. Tate, a wanted individual, jumped into the driver's seat of a Nissan Altima and led police on a chase that ended when he crashed into a cable barrier on Interstate 220. He was charged with felony fleeing and had several outstanding warrants. The driver of the vehicle, Nicole Ingram, was unharmed.
