Favian Ubense Cruz-Vargas, 48, died in Nashville after being pinned by a food truck while directing its driver, Omar Martinez-Gonzalez, 42. The incident occurred in a parking lot on Lebanon Pike, where Cruz-Vargas was trying to prevent the truck from hitting a building. Martinez-Gonzalez, found to lack a valid driver's license and insurance, was arrested and charged under the Ricky Otts Act.
