3 Southland chefs, including Davies of Fat Duck, rehearse for Oct 24 Global Chef comp in Singapore.

Southland chef Cameron Davies, along with recent graduate Quinn Ojala and tutor Mark Sycamore, is preparing for the Global Chef competition in Singapore on October 24. They rehearsed by cooking a four-course menu under competitive conditions. Davies, who owns the Fat Duck restaurant, incorporates New Zealand ingredients into his dishes. The competition features 16 chefs and evaluates food quality (60%) and kitchen behavior (40%).
