Three Ghanaian students—Evans Oppong, Henry Dabuo, and Otis Opoku—faced court on October 8, 2024, for allegedly forging high school transcripts to gain admission to Lehigh University. They are charged with forgery and theft of services, currently held at Northampton County Prison. A fourth student, Cyrilstan Nomobon Sowah-Nai, has a hearing on October 15. The altered transcripts led to significant financial aid, and an arraignment is scheduled for November 7.
