ECOWAS Court of Justice appoints Ricardo Gonçalves as President and Sengu Koroma as Vice President for four-year terms.

The ECOWAS Court of Justice has appointed Ricardo Gonçalves from Cape Verde as President and Sengu Koroma from Sierra Leone as Vice President, each serving a non-renewable four-year term. They were inaugurated by Guinea-Bissau's President Umaro Embalo. Gonçalves succeeds Edward Asante, who enhanced the court's infrastructure and processes during his six-year leadership. Gonçalves aims to uphold the court's mission and promote dialogue among ECOWAS entities.
