China extends anti-dumping duties on U.S. and Japanese hydriodic acid imports for 5 years.

China has decided to extend anti-dumping duties on hydriodic acid imports from the U.S. and Japan for an additional five years, following a domestic industry investigation. Originally imposed in October 2018, the duties were set to expire last year. The Ministry of Commerce determined that ending the duties would likely lead to continued dumping, resulting in a 123.4% tax for U.S. imports and 41.1% for Japanese imports.
