Recent Zillow research reveals that the home value gap between Hispanic and non-Hispanic white homeowners has narrowed to 11.9%, the smallest margin on record. More than two-thirds of the largest metro areas saw this gap decrease over the past year. However, Hispanics still face higher fees and mortgage denial rates. The gap for Black homeowners has also slightly decreased to 17.7%. Continued efforts in housing assistance and policy reform are crucial for further progress.
