Samuel Joseph Poquette, a 33-year-old man from New Ulm, Minnesota, died in a car crash on Interstate 35 in northern Iowa on Sunday. The accident occurred around 1:45 p.m. when Poquette lost control of his southbound vehicle, entered the median, broke through a cable barrier, and collided with a bridge pillar. He was wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
