A 20-year-old man, MDrawnaq Ratin, was fatally shot on Cedar Road in Cheektowaga on Saturday. Police were called at 4:55 PM, and despite attempts to save him, Ratin died at ECMC. The shooter, who admitted to firing the weapon and remained at the scene, has not been arrested. A firearm was recovered. Authorities are investigating and urge anyone with information or footage to contact the Cheektowaga Police Detective Bureau.
