On October 13, a garage fire in Golden Point, Victoria, hospitalized a man in his 40s for smoke inhalation. The blaze, ignited by hot ashes in a bin, destroyed the garage and a car. Four CFA and Fire Rescue Victoria crews responded, containing the fire before it spread further. The incident was declared safe by 1:14 AM, and the man was taken to Ballarat Base Hospital in stable condition.
