A 22-year-old man from Sun Prairie was arrested in Madison, Wisconsin, after crashing his car into the Yahara River early Sunday morning. Police found the submerged vehicle at 7:05 a.m. Officers had previously assisted the suspect home the night before. He was charged with operating while intoxicated, failure to maintain control of his vehicle, and failure to report the accident. The car was later removed from the river by emergency teams.
