25-year-old Aniya Davis was arrested for aggravated assault and resisting arrest after allegedly firing a gun during an argument with her girlfriend.

Aniya Davis, 25, was arrested in Natchitoches for aggravated assault and resisting arrest after allegedly firing a gun during an argument with her girlfriend on October 12. Following reports of gunshots at their residence, deputies located Davis driving on Airport Road. After a brief foot chase, she was apprehended with a Glock 9mm pistol in her possession. Davis is currently held at the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.
