A Vietnamese delegation participated in the third annual dialogue on "War legacies and peace in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia," hosted by the US Institute of Peace on October 11-12. Celebrating the first anniversary of the US-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, over 150 delegates discussed regional cooperation and support for survivors. Senator Chris Van Hollen announced a $73 million bill for mine clearance, emphasizing the need for reconciliation and addressing war legacies.
