Saint-Gobain acquires Kilwaughter Minerals, pending UK approval, expected in the first half of 2025.

French multinational Saint-Gobain has reached a binding agreement to acquire Kilwaughter Minerals, a quarrying business in Northern Ireland, pending approval from the UK's Competition and Markets Authority. Kilwaughter, founded in 1939, employs around 200 people and reported £50 million in revenue for the year ending April 2024. The acquisition is expected to finalize in the first half of 2025, enhancing Saint-Gobain's construction solutions portfolio.
