A small study suggests that the diabetes drug Ozempic, combined with a new intestinal procedure called ReCET, may eliminate the need for insulin in type 2 diabetes patients. Involving 14 participants, the study found that 12 no longer required insulin after six months. The ReCET procedure targets the duodenum to improve its function. However, due to the small sample size, further research is necessary to confirm these initial results.
