2 Ottawa residential fires reported within an hour, no injuries, firefighters investigating causes.
On Sunday, Ottawa Fire Services responded to two residential fires within an hour: one at 3:18 p.m. on Arlington Avenue and another at 3:58 p.m. on Rotary Way. Both incidents involved single-family homes, with no injuries reported. Firefighters are investigating the causes. Earlier, fires occurred at a Bank Street minimall and a Bruyère Street apartment building. Later, a fire was reported in a restaurant washroom on St-Joseph Boulevard.
