Brazilian scientists have identified a 237 million-year-old reptile fossil named Gondwanax paraisensis, offering potential insights into the evolution of dinosaurs. Found in Paraiso do Sul, this small, four-legged creature belongs to the silesaurid group, which may be related to the early ancestors of dinosaurs. The fossil, discovered in 2014 and studied for three years after being donated to a university, dates back to the Triassic period.
