Georgia's average gas price has fallen to $2.70 per gallon, a decrease of four cents from last week and 29 cents from a month ago, following Governor Brian Kemp's suspension of the gas tax after Hurricane Helene. Filling a 15-gallon tank now costs $40.50, down $5 from a month ago. In contrast, the national average is $3.20, with Savannah and Hinesville-Fort Stewart being the most expensive areas in Georgia.
