Tony Johnson, a 105-year-old World War II veteran, celebrated his birthday in Worsley, Greater Manchester. He participated in the D-Day landings at Gold Beach in 1944 and received the French Legion of Honour in 2020 for his service. Johnson remains active, enjoying daily crosswords and tracking stocks. He hosted a party for 52 guests at a local cricket club and received a birthday card from the King and Queen.
