An 11-year-old girl drowned on Saturday after falling into a retention pond in Tooele County, Utah. Accompanied by a 7-year-old boy, she slipped into the water, which is fenced and marked as no trespassing. The boy ran for help, returning with a neighbor and his father, who pulled the girl from the pond and began CPR. Despite efforts from them and emergency responders, the girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
