The Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber is hosting a pitch competition, HYPE (Highlighting Young Professional Excellence), on November 20 at Watermark Solarium in Stevensville. Modeled after Shark Tank, the event offers aspiring entrepreneurs a chance to present their ideas for startup funds. A panel of local business owners will judge the pitches and share their experiences. The Upton and Whirlpool Foundations are funding the top three contestants and a crowd favorite award.
