The Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) is investigating Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's daughter, Veena Vijayan, over alleged illegal transactions involving her IT firm, Exalogic. The inquiry began in January 2024 after claims surfaced about payments from mining company CMRL, in which a state entity has a stake. Veena defended the payments as legitimate.
