Six months before the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Japan, organizers face challenges including construction delays and the cancellation of flying taxis due to safety concerns. As of October 6, only half of the targeted 14 million advance tickets have been sold. The construction budget has surged to 235 billion yen (about $1.6 billion), while the operation budget rose to 116 billion yen (approximately $780 million). The expo is set to run from April 13 to October 13, 2025.
