A hit-and-run collision on Leigh Avenue in Widnes on October 11 at 11:50 PM involved a black Mercedes and a grey Audi A1, resulting in severe injuries to the Audi's occupants, a man and a woman. The Mercedes occupants fled, and a 25-year-old local man has since been arrested. Cheshire Police are investigating and seeking witnesses or video footage to aid in their inquiry.
