Nebraska Task Force 1 rescue team completes missions in North Carolina and Florida, returning home.
Nebraska Task Force 1, a rescue team from Lincoln Fire and Rescue consisting of about 73 members, is returning home after completing its mission in response to Hurricanes Helene in North Carolina and Milton in Florida. The team was deployed in two phases, with some members assisting in North Carolina and others in Florida. Members who flew to the locations will return by air, while the remaining members will drive back to Nebraska.
