Fire at vacant S. Geddes St. house leads to damage at three homes, evacuation, and investigation.

On Saturday morning, a fire on Syracuse's Westside started at a vacant house on S. Geddes St. around 8:02 a.m., leading to one home being declared a total loss and two others sustaining damage. Firefighters extinguished the blaze after about 90 minutes, with all residents safely evacuated. Five individuals were displaced, and the Red Cross is providing assistance. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
