Two suspects impersonating DTE workers fatally attacked a 72-year-old man and restrained his wife in their Rochester Hills, Michigan home. After being denied entry the previous night, the suspects returned, claiming to investigate a gas leak. The husband was later found dead in the basement. The wife escaped and contacted authorities.
