A fatal car crash occurred on Interstate 80 near Winnemucca, Nevada, on Wednesday at about 5:15 PM. Lawrence Neely, a 65-year-old driver from East Carbon, Utah, died when his Toyota Corolla collided with a slow-moving big rig, which was also affected by a nearby wildfire. Neely was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and the truck driver was unharmed. The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
