Niger's Interior Minister, General Mohamed Toumba, has initiated the construction of 882 social housing units for the National Guard in Niamey. Funded by the Niger Housing Bank, the project will cost over 6.317 billion CFA francs (approximately $10.525 million) and will unfold in three phases over three years. The initiative aims to enhance living conditions for National Guard personnel and their families, especially those affected by counter-terrorism efforts.
