30-mile offshore man rescued by US Coast Guard after Hurricane Milton, stranded on fishing boat.

A man was rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard approximately 30 miles off Longboat Key, Florida, after clinging to a cooler following Hurricane Milton. He lost contact with authorities while out on a fishing boat for repairs, becoming stranded when his rudder got tangled. After failing to check in since Wednesday, he was located and transported to Tampa General Hospital for medical treatment.
