FEMA extends Flood Insurance renewal grace period for Hurricane Helene victims to Nov 26.

The National Flood Insurance Program, the main source of flood insurance for homes, typically offers a 30-day renewal window. Notably, only about 1% of homeowners in the hardest-hit areas had flood insurance prior to the disaster.
