24-year-old Zachary Kam arrested for assaulting police during Netanyahu protest in Washington, D.C.
Zachary Allen Kam, a 24-year-old from Chicago, was arrested for assaulting two police officers during protests against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to Congress on July 24 in Washington, D.C. He is the third individual charged in connection with the demonstration. Kam allegedly dragged one officer and pulled another to the ground. The U.S. Park Police revoked the protest permit, and cleanup costs exceeded $11,000.
