Ghana's Transport Ministry has reinstated staff from Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) after they were cleared of involvement in a cocaine smuggling case at Kotoka International Airport. The incident, which involved 8.5 kilograms of cocaine intercepted in Brussels, initially led to suspensions. Minister Kwaku Ofori Asiamah confirmed their innocence and noted ongoing discussions to address rising domestic flight costs. New security measures have been introduced to prevent future incidents.
