Andrew Bell, a 56-year-old Jaguar Land Rover employee, was sentenced to 22 months in prison, suspended for 18 months, for committing £70,000 in income tax fraud known as "Tommy's Tax." He falsely registered for self-assessment and claimed ineligible business expenses. JLR stated the issue is limited to a few employees seeking third-party tax advice and is conducting an internal investigation. Bell must also complete 20 days of rehabilitation and 150 hours of unpaid work.
