A man was shot in the shoulder while trying to intervene in a robbery at a Dollar General store in northwest Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon. He was taken to the hospital and is conscious. The incident occurred at 3509 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive around 3 p.m., but the suspects fled before police arrived. The Atlanta Police Department is investigating, and no information about the suspects has been released.
