The Delta State Police Command in Nigeria has arrested a suspected kidnapper, Timothy Ochuko, and seized a Beretta pistol. Initially thought to be a fraudster, he was linked to a kidnapping case involving a N4,000,000 ransom. Police recovered N500,000 from his account and uncovered a gang's hideout. In a separate operation, 52 suspects were apprehended, including 34 kidnappers, with multiple firearms and N5.5 million seized. Investigations are ongoing.
