Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small Sr. and his wife, Superintendent La'Quetta Small, have pleaded not guilty to charges of child endangerment and abuse of their teenage daughter. Prosecutors allege they physically and emotionally abused the girl, causing her to be unconscious at least once. Mayor Small also faces charges of assault and terroristic threats.
