A 26-year-old man died in a Sydney hospital after being shot by police during an incident involving a stolen car from the home of Penrith MP Karen McKeown. The vehicle was tracked to an underground car park, where it allegedly accelerated towards officers, prompting them to open fire. A 34-year-old passenger was also injured.
