25-year-old Breanne Bruyere arrested for manslaughter in March shooting of Edgar Bear; another suspect, Maxim Garneau, charged with second-degree murder.
Breanne Joan Bruyere, 25, has been arrested in connection with the March shooting death of 56-year-old Edgar Allan Bear in Winnipeg. She faces charges of manslaughter and obstructing justice. Another suspect, 27-year-old Maxim Dale Garneau, was previously charged with second-degree murder in this case. Bear, a member of Peguis First Nation, was found dead in a residence. Both suspects were known to the victim.
