Titan Group has partnered with Thyssenkrupp Polysius to launch the IFESTOS carbon capture project at the Kamari cement plant in Greece. This initiative aims to reduce CO2 emissions by nearly 1.9 million tons annually, contributing to zero-carbon cement production. Utilizing oxyfuel technology, the captured CO2 will be liquefied for permanent storage in the Mediterranean. The project is set to significantly lower Greek industrial emissions and is expected to be operational by late 2029.
