Samsung has officially halted software support for the Galaxy Z Fold 2, a foldable phone launched in 2020. Consequently, it will no longer receive Android or security updates, raising concerns about planned obsolescence. While the Galaxy Z Fold 2 sold approximately 2.8 million units, users are encouraged to upgrade to newer models, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which offers extended update support.
