Honda is recalling approximately 1.7 million vehicles in the U.S. due to a defect in the steering gearbox that can lead to increased steering difficulty and raise crash risks. Affected models include the Honda Civic, CR-V, and Acura Integra from model years 2022 to 2025. Dealers will provide free repairs, which involve replacing a worn gear spring and adjusting grease levels. Vehicle owners will be notified by mail.
