The Florida Panthers have signed forward Carter Verhaeghe to an eight-year, $56 million contract extension, following their season opener victory over the Boston Bruins. Verhaeghe, a key player in their Stanley Cup win, has been with the team since 2019 and recorded 42 goals last season. The deal includes a $46 million bonus and a six-year no-move clause, securing him as part of the Panthers' core players contracted through at least 2030.
