In Bangladesh's recent student-led uprising, at least 737 deaths have been confirmed by the government, with Health Adviser Nurjahan Begum noting that this figure may rise as more injured individuals are reported. The UN estimates over 600 fatalities occurred between July 16 and August 11. Additionally, about 400 people suffered eye injuries, including 35 who lost both eyes, and 22 require prosthetic limbs.
